Public Schools
Elementary and secondary education throughout Noxubee County is provided by the Noxubee County School System and several private schools. The county system operates the following schools serving approximately 2,000 students:
- Earl Nash Elementary School in Macon (grades K-4)
- B. F. Liddell Middle School in Macon (grades 5-8)
- Noxubee County High School in Macon (grades 9-12)
