The objectives of the Noxubee Economic and Community Development Alliance are to
- attract new industries and helping existing enterprises to compete
- promote and support local businesses
- attract new residents and advance tourism
- strengthen community values and unity of purpose
- improve the quality of life for residents of Noxubee County
- promote community services.

The Alliance focuses on these primary areas of effort:
Economic Development
- Promoting the advantages of Noxubee County to potential industries
- Providing useful current data to potential industries and site selectors
- Helping existing industries succeed and thrive
- Serving as adviser and liaison to local, state, and regional agencies and service providers
- linking start-ups with information and technical expertise
Business and Community Development
- Promoting local businesses through referrals and events such as ribbon cuttings
- Serving as a point of contact and source of information for visitors and new residents
- Sponsoring seminars for local business leaders and entrepreneurs
- Promoting networking through informal business gatherings
- Fostering community spirit through events such as an annual festival, pep rally, and Christmas parade.
The Noxubee Economic and Community Development Alliance is a cooperative effort among local governments and the many businesses and individuals who support Alliance activities through their memberships.
